"I worked with Nada on the People and Platform team at Divvy for about 1 year. She was our team's designer for frontend and mobile designs. I was the product manager of the development team and worked with her day in and day out on big projects as well as smaller iterations and improvements in our product. I highly recommend Nada for 3 main reasons: 1) she's driven, 2) she's a natural collaborator, and 3) she pushes herself to continuously improve.

She's Driven
Nada isn't one of those people you have to tell what to do, when, and how. She just gets going. Once she joined our team, she familiarized herself with all the parts of our large area and immediately got to work. Almost immediately, we were hosting customer interviews together and she was always driving designs and customer research. It was clear in working with her that her work is a reflection of her reputation and because of that "good enough" was never an option. She always pushed herself to come up with new, innovative ways to approach flows in user management, authentication, and more that many would consider "solved" and I loved that attitude.

Natural Collaboration
‍Our team was a "self-organizing team". Team members played to their strength and did the work that needed to be done even if it didn't fully make sense with their role. Once Nada joined our team, it was clear she was a design leader and yet she always made each member of our team feel like they were part of the design process. She always elicited feedback from each member of the team, internal employees, and customers. One of my favorite things about Nada was how she would present alternatives to individual designs and flows. She did this to make everyone on the team feel part of the process and took the time to explain the tradeoffs of each approach. I absolutely adored this about her! I also loved her natural ability to make customers feel calm, relaxed, and honest in customer interviews. She's a very sweet person all around!

Continuous Improvement
Sometimes in software, you work with people that are comfortable with how they approach their work. I never got this sense from Nada. I loved how she always challenged herself to learn the things she didn't know and was communicative about the things she didn't understand in our team so she can learn and grow. One specific example related to data analysis. We had a data science team but still found ourselves having to get in the trenches and figure things out ourselves due to their backlog. Nada and I jammed together on several projects to the point where I felt like she knew the data and what it mean as good as me (or even better).

Overall, I'd highly recommend Nada. I miss working with her. She has the sweetest personality, she's a badass professional, and she's driven. If you want a designer that stands out from the crowd, pick her up before you lose your chance!"
